Reverend Paul L. Kelley is an ordained minister of the Gospel who accepted his call to ministry in 2000 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. G. David Horton, Pastor of Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Miami Gardens, Florida.
In the summer of 2001, Rev. Kelley was called to serve as Interim Pastor of Greater Mt. Missionary Baptist Church during a period of significant financial and spiritual challenges. Driven by his passion for Christ and commitment to God’s people, Pastor Kelley worked diligently to restore the church’s financial stability while, most importantly, renewing its spiritual foundation. He established the motto, “It’s in the Book,” emphasizing the importance of living according to the Word of God. Within six months, his leadership and dedication led the congregation to ask him to remain as pastor, and he was officially installed in that role.
Pastor Kelley’s ministry expanded with his appointment as Pastor of Greater Little Rock Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. Through his leadership, he continues to seek opportunities to serve and strengthen the surrounding community. His commitment to community development includes supporting initiatives such as S.H.A.R.E. through the Macon Educational Resource Learning Center (M.E.R.L.C.).
Pastor Kelley is actively involved in numerous community and faith-based organizations, boards, conferences, and councils that provide opportunities for service, outreach, witnessing, and evangelism. His affiliations include the NAACP, where he serves as Chaplain and Church Relations Liaison of the Macon Chapter; the Union Baptist Ministerial Council; Lambda Kappa Pnu Service Fraternity; and service as an Ambassador to Florida Memorial University. He is also involved in local and international mission ministries, is the immediate past 4th Vice Moderator of the Seaboard Baptist Association, Inc., an affiliate of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., and proudly serves on the Dr. Willie L. Golden “Last Chance” Scholarship Committee.
Pastor Kelley is a product of the Dade County Public School System, Knoxville College in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Florida Memorial University School of Religion and Philosophy in Miami Gardens, Florida. His commitment to lifelong learning remains strong, and he is currently continuing his theological education at Grace Bible College.
Through his ministry, community involvement, and commitment to education, Pastor Kelley continues to dedicate himself to serving God, empowering individuals, and helping build stronger communities.
